Y ahora le toca a Warner Bros. ¡Changuitos a que The Dark Knight no sea un churro!

You are the only one in LJ who I've seen talking about it. I mean, in my flists. Which is weird, considering how many manganime fans there are. I figured that I was just completely wrong as the demo, so that was why I wasn't interested.

Yeah, it's really weird. I mean, it is a kids' movie, so I can understand Matrix fans not being so into it, and Speed Racer isn't that popular with current manga/anime fans, but neither of those things explains why essentially none of my flist has bothered to see it. I think it's fantastic, but I'm sure a lot of people would at least like it.

Considering how forgiving fandom can be of even flawed movies, yeah, I'm surprised.

I think it's partly just that so few people have seen it so far that it really can't have good word of mouth. And there are just too many other fan favorites out right now. I don't know when I'm going to have time to see Prince Caspian, Indy 4, and Iron Man, let alone all the other stuff coming out this summer.
