Star Trek:TNG, el episodio censurado

Gracias a [livejournal.com profile] vito_excalibur esta mañana he tenido un momento de "¿Perdón? Wut?"

Me he enterado de un episodio de ST:The Next Generation (escrito por el mismo tipo que nos dio "Trouble with Tribbles") titulado "Sangre y Fuego".

¿Como es que no sabia de esto? No me merezco la etiqueta de trekkie, fregados.

Entiendo por el artículo de que el libreto fue aprobado por Roddenberry, pero nunca fue producido. Ahora, después de una actualización, sera un episodio de la serie creada por fans, Star Trek:Phase II.

The weird thing about that thread in the link is no one mentioned Q and Picard. They were intentionally played camp, and also make me happy in my pants. I remember in an interview DeLancie mentioned that in the scene where they wake up in bed together he was supposed to be sitting on the bed, but got in bed with Stewart and went from there, and other antics...as well as the character making overt advances. Since Q bookends the TNG series, I like to pretend like the entire series is Q testing Picard before he makes him his immortal lover. ;) Forget all the Q retcon and gender normitization in (stupid) Voyager...

Maybe they don't see anything as overt as Q and Pircard? I don't get it either. Even without slash goggles on it's RIGHT THERE, so yeah, pretty weird. Maybe they need to be 20 somethings for it to register.
