Súper Héroes

Esta mañana fui al correo y vi estas estampillas. Había oído de ellas, pero como soy una desidiosa (como la anti-Bush, quien se proclama The Decider) termine olvidando comprar unas cuantas hojas.

Si, son puros héroes DC, los héroes más norteamericanos, si es que a algunos les queda la etiqueta. DC Comics son también los héroes que me engancharon de niña, aunque no fueron los únicos culpables de agarrar mi cerebro y moldearlo como masita.

Al final de cuentas podría ser DC o Marvel o Kaliman, o el programa de TV mas malhecho del universo, o animación hecha con las patas, verdad que no importaba. Ya para los 6 años estaba clavada.

Did they ever make a Marvel version? I'm not sure I'd have included Plasticman and Green Arrow in the list. Hawkman is also a bit shaky. But I'm not sure with whom I would replace them.
At least the Wonder Twins didn't get a a stamp. ;)

Yeah, some of the choices are *meh*, I would have gone either for the more iconic villains (Catwoman!!) or maybe more interesting characters.

I just noticed that it said, "Chapter One". How many Chapters did they make of the superhero stamp sets?

I've been looking at the USPS web site and so far I've had no luck finding any info on additional stamps :(

I was looking around the USPS web site for more info. I only find DC. And I saw this pic:

I note from the date/place that apparently they released the stamps for ComiCon. Nifty!

You get the Sea Lion icon since I saw the Sea Lions when I was at Sea World around the time of ComiCon.

Yep, I vaguely remember reading about it, but never really tried to be the for the unveiling.

Aww, it's been a long time since I was at Sea World... *thinks* -- holy shit, I think it was over 10 years ago... yeah, it was around 95!

Si las he escichado, pos clarin! Pero te dire, que lo que mas me gustaba era el comic, porque las aventuras no las oi hasta años despues y el actor no sonaba tan cool como el Kaliman atrapado en mi cabeza :)
