I'm standing in front of a bookshelf at Borders. It is the sex/health section and I'm a little concerned. Selection seems to be very limited. An awful lot of these books have tanned, beautiful, perfectly matched couples on the cover. They seem to be very happy and content with their lot in life. Believe me, if I looked like that I'd be happier with my lot in life too. I also notice that many of these books have pink covers. Ergo, its mostly women who buy this stuff, right?

I go over the selection again trying to keep out images of A&N enthusiastically grabbing books and calmly discussing their merits. Hmmm. Also, I'm having bad flashbacks to my mom's sex books that just weirded me out cus' my mom & dad stopped having sex about 15 years ago and so naturally I really don't want to know why the hell she got them 3 years ago.

Oh, look here, some lesbian sex guides. But where are the gay men sex books? Okay, lots of lesbian stuff, okay....hmmm....here we---hey, wait, these are not gay sex books, these are-- what, novels? Memoirs? So, Borders has no gay customers or what? Or how about bored mostly straight Mexican women who might find it kinky?

I finally decide on a book and remind myself I need to go online next time I want a book.
