vidorama. Esta comunidad tiene un politica de no permitir slash o contenida homoerotico en los vids que considera para premios (no, no se que premios dan).

[NOTA: Para contexto historico, los primeros vids fueron creadas por fans de Kirk/Spock. La primera de ellas fue Kandy Fong, quien inicio en 1975.]

Why don't you allow slash?

This rule is not meant to be offensive to anyone. This is merely a personal preference when it comes down to what type of videos I will be watching and judging. I respect that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but slash is not something I feel comfortable with or enjoy watching. Again, this is not me trying to lash out at homosexuality or slash vidders or be high and mighty. It's simply a personal preference. If you have non-slash vids, I would be happy to see them in the contest, if not, there are plenty of other slash communities on LJ. I hope you can respect this. Link.

For vidders: don't submit vids to vidorama. Their policy is openly exclusionary to homosexual/homoerotic pairings, even in-canon pairings.

Imagine, if you will, a time when homophobia doesn't worm its intolerant, divisive, destructive way into our lives. I hope I'm still alive to see the day. I'm a middle-aged, straight woman.
