Shattered esta una pelicua major que de peliculas de el proxima 2 años.

( I have to start practicing my Spanish again...I know that was a pitiful attempt at saying "Shattered is a better film than most of the movies of the last 2 years." The most is the word I can't quite remember...did I tell you crashed and burned the last few weeks of my class, and basically earned an "F"in my opinion---but the professora must have liked me, because she gave me a "D". )

Another language as an adult is a pretty difficult thing to learn. Wait... did that just sound like Yoda?

anyway, to me it seems pretty difficult, but I hope you don't give, specially since you live in Ca and can have a chance to practice. I tried learning French a long time ago. It gave me an appreciation for just how difficult it is once you're a "grown-up."

I think I was highly motivated to learn English because all the fun stuff (books, movies, tv) was more accessible and there was more of it in English. But I was a little kid. It took me years to be able to even read a Stephen King paperback . . . . eh, ok, enough yammering ;)
