For years I've found yellow cheese (cheddar or whatever) gross. A lot of Mexicans friends feel that *any* yellow cheese is pretty gross because God intended cheese to be white, maybe a little blue, but never bright yellow ;)
I saw that and considered commenting, but since she could make fun of my Spanglish, I decided she and I were even and let it go.
I like Velveeta when I was a kid. But it is the type of bland, sweet, creamy cheese that kids would like. Velveeta does melt well - so it can be nice for cooking, I suppose. I still never use it. Kinda like I never eat Spam even though I liked it as a kid.

Gracias, gracias. Yo creo se me facilita aceptarlo ahora porque al menos el queso blanco sí me gusta, porque cuando era chica no soportaba ni su olor. Ahora ya está más balanceada la cosa.

Hee! Si tan sólo aprendiera a aprovechar la naturaleza (casi no como frutas ni verduras), tal vez me harían menos falta los productos tan procesados como el queso amarillo.

ARGH!!! No no no!!! ¿No te habia comentado de mi horror ante los platanos? ¿No? Pues he aqui mi confesión: Los platanos me dan asco. *sniff* Una fuente saludable de potasio y no aguanto ni tocarlos.

It's true. As a kid it was the only cheese I'd have. Now I've developed taste for white cheese as well, but there'll always be Velveeta in my fridge.
