I was looking at the box of Frosted Flakes with Antonio el Tigre and it reminded me of an incident in Spanish class in high school.
Our teacher had recorded some show off of Spanish language television and we were watching it. I think it was some music videos with Menudo. Anyway, we were watching and suddenly there was a commercial for "Trix" and for some reason, seeing the Trix rabbit talking in Spanish was the funniest thing any of us had ever seen. Sure, when you think about it logically it's not a big deal for a cartoon rabbito to be bi-lingual, but it simply never occured to any of us that it is possible for him to jump on the bus and shout, "!Hola Ninos!" We erupted into laughter and heard nothing else on that commercial.
Yo tambien quiero un dibujillo
