The thing I learned wayyy back in the day-- you're just asking for trouble if you involved money&fanfic and when you start disrepecting the tightrope of pros--fans diplomacy, legal areas, fan tradition ( my fan culture is rather "old fashioned", mostly having been instilled in me in the late 60's through very early 80's...but certain protocols, features, still exist...) and it seems these people who are doing the FanLib just haven't done the research to develop a competitive product.
I'm almost hitting my overdose level on this stuff, the point where it makes me sad instead of just angry.
I keep hearing and despising the ways that advertisers are trying to get to people, specially those in certain demographics for their specific product. I pisses me off, this clumsy and blatant attempt to take over fandom energy to sell whatever crap :/
