Cine y bandom

This is England.- Lo que mas disfrute fue la 1ra. mitad de la historia, donde visitamos 1983 y las modas y música. Siendo ya de decadas atras, se sienten frescas.

Rotten Tomatoes se desvive en las críticas positivas que ha recibido esta película, pero tiene sus problemas, momentos que pierden el ritmo, que se alargan y repiten lo mismo dentro de la película o momentos que se sienten refritos de otras historias. Pero eso no le quita a lo excelente de los actores y lo fresco a Sean, el niño que encuentra su segundo hogar con un grupo de skinheads.

Ay, esas tomas al principio, en slow-mo, de Sean y sus nuevos amigos. Uy, nostalgia, pero de la que pone feliz.

Y brincando de tema...

Bandom, bandom, como siguea consumiendo a bocadillos mi flist. Por lo que entiendo - OK, nomas pinches rumores - es un fandom lleno de romance -- pero no solo en el fic, sino entre muchas de estas tipas escribiendo el fic, asi que el fandom tiene drama y drama y drama. Se me hace bien tierno, sin nada de ironia de mi parte.


editado: Glosario de terminos. Para aquellos que no saben que son cosas como bandom. Es que no toda persona que visita este LJ sabe en veces de que chingados ando alucinando.

Eso me dicen un par de personas. El fandom tiene fans mas jovencitas y aventadas a las aventuras romanticas :D

Hey, it alerted me to a trend in Xena fic, were they write a AU were she conquers the world and is maybe EBIL!

I tried Xena fic and found it way too sweet. Maybe the AUs would have more fun.

hee, my friends and I probably came up with better storylines when we were playing Xena adventures during recess in 2nd grade. Maybe because we weren't into much romance fluff, and more into the action/adventure...

but reading that link started this whole idea for a novel. About friends in an online community that form around a TV show about superpowered people who use a community soccer team as their front for justice. yeah.

hey, I once NaNoWriMo'ed something (in July 2006, more convenient) that was inspired by a Smallville episode. 47,500 words. I just couldn't think up anything more.

I actually think the idea could be an awsome geeky wonder.
